Tips For Getting Those Flat Abs
Everyone knows that flat abs is just plain sexy. There are many ways to flatten those abs without having to do strenuous hour long sit ups and crunches. Below are just a few tips you can follow to get those abs of yours flat and sexy in no time flat.
It goes without saying that some exercise is required to flatten those abs. You need to work that specific muscle group. The best way to go about this is to change up your routine each week. You want to work different muscle groups each week. This will give one set of muscles time to rest and heal while you work the others.
Watch your eating habits. You need to stay away from processed foods and foods high in sugar and sodium. Eat fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats and whole unprocessed foods. Limit your amount of soda and coffee and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. This will help speed up your metabolism and increase the amount of calories you burn.
During the day, contract your abs. Even if you are just sitting at your desk in your office, contract and hold your abs for a count of 10 and release. Repeat the process throughout the day.
Do full body workouts such as cardio or weight lifting rather than simple sit ups or crunches. Even though it might appear that you are flattening your belly with crunches, they do nothing for losing fat. You need to lose the fat first before you can tighten the tummy.
Avoid eating after 6PM each night. Go to bed on an empty stomach. This will go a long way in losing fat making it easier to tone your abs during exercise.
