Natural Yeast Infection Remedies for Women

Yeast infections or otherwise known as candidias affect many women worldwide on a daily basis. Women who suffer with yeast infections claim to experience soreness, itching, redness, large amounts of discharge, painful urination and fatigue. Women do not have to suffer with yeast infections or buy expensive treatments. There are natural remedies out there that are just as effective in getting rid of yeast infections.

You can prevent yeast infections by avoiding or at least reducing certain foods such as alcohol, junk foods, caffeine, beer, sugar, processed foods and dairy products.

Refrain from sharing public areas such as pools, restrooms and baths. If you must use the restroom, protect yourself with seat covers and not touching the seats at all.

Refrain from wearing tight clothing which provides little ventilation. Tight clothing provides a warm and moist environment for the yeast to grow and spread. Cotton clothing is a better choice.

Although in most cases you cannot avoid the use of antibiotics if needed, you should still be aware that these types of medications can cause yeast infections.

Coat a tampon with a lubricant and a few drops of tea tree oil which is an effective yeast infection remedy. If you are not willing to try this method an alternative would be to fill up the bath with warm water and add a cup of apple cider vinegar and soak in it for at least 30 minutes.

You can eat yogurt to get rid of your yeast infection or apply it directly to the infected area. Yogurt contains lactobacillus acidophilus which produces antibacterial properties. Garlic cloves work as an anti-fungal agent and they can be chewed or rubbed on infected area as well.

These are just some of the many different natural remedies you can try to eliminate yeast infections in women. Talk with your doctor about substituting medication for a more natural approach.

And finally before I go, a bit of exciting news for you all, I have decided it was about time to just get it over with and book the appointment to get that tattoo that I had gotten in high school removed. It has been irritating me for a really long time now, apparently I have grown out of that whole defiant stage now. However, I was looking on the page for laser tattoo removal and I am uncertain if it will look better afterwards, some of the photos are a little bit questionable! What do you guys think is worse, a snake or a faint outline of one
