Chewing the food slowly will help the digestive system to absorb large amount of nutrients from the food. The fifth point is to avoid those types of foods or drinks which are either too cold or too hot. They are not good for the body. Extreme temperatures can weaken the functioning of the organs, namely the spleen. It also burns the sensitive membrane of the mouth as well as the stomach lining. That is why before taking any drink or food be sure about the temperature first.
