Healthy Eating - Eating Organic Has It’s Advantages

What are foods that are organic? These are foods that have been grown without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, hormones and herbicides.
Organic foods are not only healthy to eat, but they provide us with energy that we need to stay focused throughout the day. Many so called “energy”foods that are out there can actually make us sick. These energy foods have been grown with pesticides which get into our tissues and weakens the immune system. This in turn allows carcinogens and pathogens to minimize our health.
Other problems can be found in our meats and dairy products. Farm animals and dairy cows are fed antibiotics and growth hormones which can be passed into the human body upon consumption. Organic meats and dairy products are made from grass fed farm animals. Not to mention organic meats, dairy and produce contain over 50% more vitamins, minerals and enzymes along with other micro nutrients.
Knowing all this, it only makes sense to eat organically. Starting early on with your children is a good idea to ensure the health of your children. Children are still developing their immune system and vital organs so foods full of toxins and pesticides can leave them susceptible to illness and disease. Organic foods might cost a bit more than processed foods, but if you weigh in all the benefits they provide, it is definitely worth the cost. Organic meat tastes so much better, and there are some delicious chicken recipes. You will also begin to feel better and have more energy when eating organic foods which will allow you to do more each day. This can lead to more productivity in your work as well as at home.
